Stavanger University Hospital (SUH) in Stavanger, Norway, is Norway’s fourth largest hospital. Most academic staff are affiliated with the University of Stavanger or the University of Bergen. The Clinical Immunology Unit serves all patients with systemic inflammatory autoimmune diseases in the southern part of Rogaland County (350,000 inhabitants). The Clinical Immunology Research Group focus on central nervous system manifestations of autoimmune diseases, and genetic and biological mechanisms of chronic fatigue in diseases like primary Sjögren´s syndrome (pSS), SLE, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel diseases, etc.
Main tasks in the project
Recruit and investigate 30 patients with SLE and 30 with pSS as well as 25 healthy control subjects.
