Prof. Joaquim J Ferreira and the research group in Neurology and Clinical Pharmacology are one of the many teams incorporated in IMM, and they are responsible for the course of the IDEA-FAST Clinical Observation Study in Portugal. Prof. Joaquim J Ferreira group focuses mainly on drug safety, clinical studies methodologies, and systematic reviews, with an emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease.

Involved in the clinical observational study:

– Recruitment of participants;
– Coordinating the COS in Portugal.
