This workshop aims to maximize the impact of IHI-funded projects focused on the use of Real-World Evidence (RWE) in key public health decision-making. The meeting was geared toward projects advancing the development of policies and tools that support the use of RWE, and/or conducting RWE research with regulatory and/or HTA implications. Projects will explore opportunities for cross-project collaboration and engagement to avoid unnecessary duplication and more efficiently support the IHI’s mission to translate health research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society.
The IDEA-FAST project was represented by project coordinator Dr. Wan-Fai Ng of Newcastle University, WP8 member Olenka van Ardenne of Lygature, and WP9 member Alexandra Prodan of empirica.
