The article reviews IDEA-FAST’s efforts to develop digital measures of fatigue and sleep disturbances for multiple diseases, and the advice provided by the European Medicines Agency on its plans for regulatory qualification of the proposed measures. The insights included in this paper can serve as a guide in the development of cross-disease digital measures intended for regulatory qualification, making it a very important achievement for IDEA-FAST.
