The IDEA-FAST project is an IMI2 initiative launched in November 2019, bringing together 48 partners across 15 countries. Funded under the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking (grant agreement No. 853981), it aims to develop digital endpoints that provide reliable, objective, and sensitive measures of activities of daily living and health-related quality of life in neurodegenerative and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. By moving beyond traditional, questionnaire-based assessments, which are often limited by recall bias and low sensitivity, IDEA-FAST seeks to enable more accurate and continuous measurement of patients’ real-world experiences.
After years of collaboration across academia, industry, and patient communities, IDEA-FAST reaches an important milestone, and we invite you to be part of it.
This full-day hybrid event brings together leading experts, partners, and external voices to reflect on the project’s achievements and, crucially, what comes next.
Across four dynamic themes, we’ll explore:
- What we’ve learned from one of the largest real-world digital cohorts
- What truly patient-centred digital research looks like
- How we turn complex data into meaningful insights
- And most importantly, how this work can shape future clinical trials and care
