On May 30 and 31, members of IDEA-FAST met in Kiel, Germany, to prepare for the start of the Clinical Observation Study (COS). The University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein as sponsor of the COS with their Neurogeriatrics Lab prepared the meeting for representatives from almost all clinical sites participating in the project. Important aspects of recruitment and patient visits, etc. were discussed and practiced. Besides all the important work, the most important thing was coming together in-person after two years of Covid-19 pandemic and finally getting to know each other after more than one year of online-meetings! With a good feeling for the process, and also for our project colleagues, we are positively looking forward to start the COS!
